Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor from America. Her most famous role is Skyler White in Breaking Bad, an AMC drama Breaking Bad, for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 as well as 2014 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Her other roles include Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in love with acting in preparation for her first performance before moving to Ohio. She attended Northwestern University to study theatre as well as the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for several years, before trying out for film and TV roles. Anna had her first big role as Arden as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in 1992. She continued to appear as guest stars on a number of television shows and films including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue through the mid 1990's, when she was cast in a recurring role in the role of Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock played two full seasons in Deadwood that was shot in the mid 2000's. Skyler was her role on Breaking Bad. Sully as well as Deadwood was also an integral an integral part of her professional career. Gunn also starred in David Schwimmer directed the film Sex With Strangers. She also had a role in the show Numbered Day, which is an audio-based podcast that consists of four audio plays. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The strains and eventual ending mirrors the last years of Walter White.
